ZIGA
It is one of the 15 villages that are part of Baztan Valley. It’s a town of 200 citizens located in the Navarre mountains, just 40 minutes from Pamplona. It is a beautiful town surrounded by lush forests and green meadows where cattle graze, and its great houses of red stone and wood from Baztan stand out.
The parish church is dedicated to San Lorenzo. It was built between 1593 and 1603. Its great facade is shows the imposition of herrerian forms, being the best example of Herrerian style in Navarre.

BAZTAN
Baztan Township, located in northern Navarre, with 376.8 Km2, is the largest municipality in the Autonomous Region, land of noblemen and emigrants where you can find palaces and farmhouses made of rosacea stone, and haystacks scattered throughout the meadows and hills. The valley is made up of 15 villages.

PAMPLONA
Pamplona is the capital of the autonomous region of Navarra. It is the third largest city in the Basque Country. In the twentieth century it expanded greatly and in the last decade it has become very popular nationwide. Its worldwide fame for the Sanfermines (Running of the bulls festival) is a recent phenomenon, linked also to the publicity given to it by Ernest Hemingway.

SAN SEBASTIÁN
San Sebastian is the capital of Guipuzcoa and the most important town of the region. The city is bathed by the Cantabrian Sea and surrounded by the mountains Igeldo, Ulia and Urgull. In 2011 it was proclaimed European capital of culture for 2016. San Sebastian has become famous for its gastronomy. The city’s celebrity chefs and restaurants (Arzak, Aduriz, Subijana …) are recognized worldwide. Likewise, traditional snacks (pintxos) served in bars in the old town are a real tourist attraction.

BIARRITZ
Biarritz is a city in the Southwest of France, located in the department of Pyrenees-Atlantiques, in the Aquitaine region. On the shores of the Cantabrian Sea, it is located very close to Bayonne and Anglet. Biarritz achieved worldwide fame in 1854, the year that the Empress Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III, built a palace on the beach. Since then British royalty has spent long periods in the city.
